“KICKBOXING ASSOCIATION OF CHHATTISGARH’’ is the sole governing body in Chhattisgarh State to control and develop Kickboxing sport and the only state member of WAKO INDIA KICKBOXING FEDERATION recognized by “World Federation - World Association of Kickboxing Organizations (WAKO IF)”.
“KICKBOXING ASSOCIATION OF CHHATTISGARH’’ (WAKO CHHATTISGARH) established in 2010 & leaded by Mr. Tarkesh Mishra is the only Chhattisgarh State Kickboxing Association being member and fully recognized by WAKO INDIA. Mr. Tarkesh Mishra the Founder and Working President of KACG (WAKO CHHATTISGARH ).
Under the able leadership of President Mr Chhagan Lal Mundra & Working President Mr Tarkesh Mishra Now a day’s kickboxing is one of the most popular Martial Art game among the youth of CHHATTISGARH.
In this short span of time KACG is successfully organized many more times State Championship, Referee/Judges Seminar & Training Camp, Inter District championship in Chhattisgarh with the support and guideline of WAKO INDIA.
KACG team is regularly taking part in all the National & International event of kickboxing in various part of in the country & abroad.
Officials and Players of KACG, has been participated Senior World Kickboxing Championship 2015 at Ireland, Dublin, World Martial Art Mastership K-1 Event at South Koria, World Diamond Cup Championship 2016 at Anapa Russia and Wako Asian Championship Ashgabat Turkmenistan as Test Event of Upcoming Asian Indoor and Martial Art Gems 2017.
Kickboxing has already been included in 52nd National School Games Championship in India since 2006 recognized by school games Federation of India (SGFI) and we are participating continuous. Now Kickboxing Sport also included in University Sport calendar 2017 by Association of Indian University (AIU).
In Asia Kickboxing Sport is already included in Asian indoor and Martial Art Games as official sport by Olympic council of Asia. Kickboxing included In OCA’s 2nd Asian Indoor Games 2007, Macau, China –as demonstration sport, In OCA’s1st Asian Martial Arts Games 2009, Bangkok, Thailand –as official sport,In OCA’s 3rd Asian Indoor Games 2009, Veitnam –as official sport, In OCA’s 4th Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games 2013, Incheon, Korea –as official sport And would be again OCA’s Asian Indoor & 5th Martial ArtsGames 2017, Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.
“World Federation - World Association of Kickboxing Organizations (WAKO IF)” is member of AIMS, SportAccord (formally known as GAISF) and International World Games Association (IWGA), World Anti Doping Agency (WADA),Fairplay,Peace and sports. Now Kickboxing included in WORLD GAMES also.
Today's Kickboxers are stronger and fitter, faster and better conditioned than ever before due to modem scientific training technique, as well as the equipment and facilities now available to their fighting art continues to expand and grow rapidly in popularity.
